Strawberry Infused Water Recipe
There is a restaurant chain her in Spain that I love. Their menu has a limited selection, but all the ingredients are organic. The portions are small and affordable, but you can enlarge the portion or add an extra salad or side dish for a certain price. You can get a cup for a very reasonable price and drink as much of their fruit-infused waters as you like. This kind of water is called "agua fresca" here, which means refreshing water. Although the concept isn't fully established in Turkish, I believe these waters are called aromatic water in Turkish. Inspired by the drinks I had at that restaurant, I created an infused water that I enjoy drinking.
At the restaurant I mentioned, these waters are lightly sweet. Since they claim not to use refined sugar, they probably use a natural sweetener. I didn't use sugar or any sweeteners at all. I love sour flavors, so I didn't feel the missing of the sugar. The resulting drink made me very happy. If, like me, you enjoy sugar-free, lightly sour drinks like Dukan beer, I'm sure you'll love this drink too.
If you don't like these kinds of flavors and prefer your drinks to be sweet, you can add a bit of sugar or a sweetener you don't mind using in drinks. If you don't know which sweetener to use for drinks, you can get inspiration from cool lime recipe. Grape juice and apple juice are suitable sweeteners for drinks. However, it's important to remember that both will give their flavors to the drink.
If you're using sugar or a sweetener, add it gradually and taste as you go to adjust to your preference.
