Hasselback Potato With Ground Beef

Ingredients

  • 5000 g ground beef,
  • 1 onion, chopped,
  • 1/2 tsp pepper,
  • 1/2 tsp cumin,
  • 3 large potatoes,
  • 4 tomatoes,
  • 2 tsps dried mint,
  • 1 tsp sugar,
  • Salt to taste,
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella.

How to make steps

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into round shape, place in cold water,
  2. In a deep bowl combine ground beef, onion, pepper, cumin and salt and knead,
  3. Place 1 tsp of the ground beef mixture on top of each potato slice and place the slices into a 26 cm greased baking dish,
  4. Spray with oil on top and bake at 190 C degrees until the potatoes are soft,
  5. Grate tomatoes,
  6. Add salt, dried mint and sugar and mix well,
  7. Remove the dish from oven and pour the sauce over,
  8. Bake for another 10 mins.,
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle grated mozzarella on top,
  10. Bake again until the cheese melts.
