Baked Potato Dolma Filled With Minced Meat

Baked Potato Dolma Filled With Minced Meat

Ingredients:

  • 200 g ground beef,
  • 1 onion, chopped,
  • 2 tbsp tomato purée,
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil,
  • 1/2 tsp cumin,
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper,
  • Salt  to taste.

For Potato Purée;

  • 4 potatoes,
  • 1 egg,
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese,
  • 1/2 cup milk,
  • Salt and black pepper.

Preparation:

  1. Peel and quarter potatoes, boil in salted water until tender (about 20 minutes),
  2. While the potatoes are cooking, heat  vegetable oil in large frying pan,
  3. Sauté onions in oil until tender over medium heat (10 mins),
  4. Add ground beef and sauté until no longer pink,
  5. Add tomato purée and cook 2-3 mins,
  6. Add cumin, salt and pepper, stir and remove from heat,
  7. Mash potatoes in bowl with egg, salt and pepper,
  8. Transfer half of the puree in another bowl,
  9. Make six balls with the first half of the puree,
  10. With your thumb pit the middle of the balls and make small bowls and place on a baking sheet covered with parchement paper,
  11. Divide the minced meat into each bowl,
  12. Add milk and parmesan cheese to second half of the puree and mix well,
  13. Spread the puree on top of the potato bowls,
  14. Bake in a 190 C degrees until golden on top.
