Sauteed Brussels Sprout Recipe
Serving : 2-4 Servings
Ingredients
- 500 g brussels sprout,
- 1 onion,
- 1 carrot, chopped,
- 5-6 slices sun-dried tomatoes,
- 3 tbsps olive oil,
- 1 cup of boiling water,
- 1 tsp peper flakes,
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation
- Put tomato slices in boiling water and set aside for 15 mins. until softened, then julienne,
- Pull apart the outer leaves of brussels sprout and cut into halves,
- Julienne the onion,
- Heat olive oil in a large pan and add onions,
- Sautee for a few mins.,
- Add brussels sprouts and carrots and sautee for 5 mins.,
- Add sun-dried tomatoes, sautee 2 mins.,
- Add water and cover the lid, cook until tender,
- Add salt and pepper, remove from heat.
