Sauteed Brussels Sprout Recipe

Serving : 2-4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 500 g brussels sprout,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 carrot, chopped,
  • 5-6 slices sun-dried tomatoes,
  • 3 tbsps olive oil,
  • 1 cup of boiling water,
  • 1 tsp peper flakes,
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation

  1. Put tomato slices in boiling water and set aside for 15 mins. until softened, then julienne,
  2. Pull apart the outer leaves of brussels sprout and cut into halves,
  3. Julienne the onion,
  4. Heat olive oil in a large pan and add onions,
  5. Sautee for a few mins.,
  6. Add brussels sprouts and carrots and sautee for 5 mins.,
  7. Add sun-dried tomatoes, sautee 2 mins.,
  8. Add water and cover the lid, cook until tender,
  9. Add salt and pepper, remove from heat.
