Cretan Cheese Meze With Sun Dried Tomatoes
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 250 g crumbled feta cheese,
- 1/2 cup ground walnuts,
- 2 tablespoons olive oil,
- 1 handful finely minced parsley,
- 1 teaspoon dried mint,
- 1 teaspoon thyme,
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes,
- 6 slices of sun dried tomatoes.
Preparation
- In bowl combine sun dried tomatoes with boiling water, set aside for 15 mins., then drain,
- Chop softened sun dried tomatoes,
- Heat olive oil in a sauce pan, add chilli, cook 1-2 seconds, remove from heat,
- Mince the feta cheese with a fork,
- In a bowl combine cheese, walnuts, parsley, dried mint, thyme, sun dried tomatoes and and olive oil+chilli sauce, mix well,
