Plain Rice Pilaf Recipe


  • 1 cup of rice,
  • 50 g butter,
  • 1 table spoon vegetable oil,
  • 1,5 cup boiling water,
  • Salt,
  • 2-3 drops of fresh lemon.


  1. Wash the rice with hot water and drain well,
  2. Melt butter and olive oil in a large saucepan over low heat,
  3. Add the rice and salt,
  4. Stir and cook for 5 minutes,
  5. Add boiling water and lemon drops,
  6. Cover and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
