- 1 cup rice,
- 1/2 cup canned diced carrots,
- 1/2 cup canned diced potatoes,
- 1/2 cup canned peas,
- 2 cup water,
- 1 tbsp butter,
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil,
- Salt to taste.
- Wash and drain the rice,
- In a skillet heat butter and vegetable oil,
- Add rice and cookfor 5 minutes,
- Add water, salt and drained canned vegetables,
- Cover the lid and cook in low heat until the rice is tender and all the water is absorbed,
- Remove from heat and set aside for 15 mins before serving.
