Brown Rice Pilaf Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown (unmilled) rice,
- 1/2 tbsp butter,
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil,
- 3 cups boiling water,
- Salt to taste.
Preparation
- Wash and drain the rice,
- Melt the butter in a pan,
- Add v. oil,
- Add rice and salt ann cook, constantly stirring, until the rice is crispy (5-7 mins.),
- Add water and cover the lid,
- Cook in low heat until the rice absorbs all the water,
- Turn off the heat and set aside for 15-30 mins. before serving.
