Baked Rice Pilaf With Meat Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr. lean beef cubes,
  • 1,5 cups rice,
  • 2 tomatoes,
  • 3 long green peppers,
  • 3 cloves garlic,
  • 3 bay leaves,
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil,
  • Salt,
  • Black pepper.

Preparation:

  1. In a casserole dish (with lid) place the meat, cut up tomatoes, halved peppers, bay leaves and garlic,
  2. Drizzle over the olive oil,
  3. Season with salt and black pepper,
  4. Put enough water to cover the meat and put the lid on,
  5. Bake at 200 degrees celsius preheated oven for 2-2.5 hours,
  6. Remove the dish from the oven and take out the bay leaves,
  7. Now add in the rice,
  8. Put back into the oven for 20 mins,
  9. Remove from the oven, let sit for 10-15 mins (lid on) and serve.
