Oil Free Popcorn Recipe
Popcorn is indispensable for long winter nights. But when oil and salt get involved, the color changes a bit. Popcorn is not a food that can be said to be thrown in my mouth and let go. You don't feel atrophied when you sit down and eat a bowl. We already get an unnecessary amount of oil in oily salty popcorn. The salt we take into our bodies also keeps us quiet and makes us bloated. Harm wherever you look. But on the other hand, oil-free and salt-free popcorn is quite healthy.
It is very rich in fiber. It contains more antioxidants than many vegetables and fruits, and these antioxidants play an important role in the regeneration of damaged cells. Thanks to this feature, it is claimed to be an anti-cancer food. But best of all, it's so delicious. Especially with a cup of hot tea, you can't get enough of it.
100 g of popcorn is 380 calories. But don't be intimidated right away. Popcorn is a light-in-a-lifetime food. 100 grams is quite eye-catching. It can be preferred as a snack in diets, in consultation with the dietitian. That's why I also added it under healthy category.
As for the method of making oil-free corn... It is quite easy to make, but there are a few points to be careful about. First of all, you should use popcorn kernels special to make popcorn. No matter how you cook them, otherwise they will not pop efficiently anyway. Second, you should use a non-stick pot or pan. Corn may stick when placed in a steel pan without oil. You should definitely close the lid and not open it during popping. By shaking the pot as the corns start to pop, you can make the corn that doesn't pop fall down, but never try to open the lid and stir it. Standart electric stoves are not suitable for this recipe. Since the heat is constantly increasing, the corns can burn before they have a chance to pop. You can do it on gas and induction stoves.
