Green Beans With Olive Oil Recipe

Ingredients
- 500 g green beans,
- 1 onion,
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and diced,
- 1/4 cup olive oil,
- 2 tsps salt,
- 2 tsps sugar,
- 3 cups hot water.
Preparation
- Remove the woody stems of the green beans,
- Halve green beans vertically,
- Chop the onion,
- In a skillet heat olive oil and add onions,
- Cook for 2-3 mins,
- Add green beans and diced tomatoes and cover the lid,
- Cook in low heat until green beans change their colour,
- Add salt, sugar and water and cover lid,
- Cook until the beans are tender,
- Serve cold.
