- 4 medium green tomatoes,
- 1 egg,
- 1/4 cup milk,
- Black pepper,
- 4 tablespoons corn meal,
- Oil to fry.
- Whisk together the egg, milk, salt and black pepper in a large bowl,
- Slice the tomatoes,
- Heat the oil in a large skillet with high sides,
- Dip the slices first into the egg mixture then into corn meal,
- Fry them in hot oil on both sides,
- Serve with crushed garlic-yoghurt mixture.
