Baked Tomato Sauce Chicken Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken breast,
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil,
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
- 4 large tomatoes, grated,
- 1/2 cup of canned peas,
- 1/2 tsp of thyme,
- Salt to taste,
- Pepper,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 1 cup of grated mozzarella.
Preparation
- Slice each breast thinly,
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides,
- Take half oil into a large pan and heat,
- Place the chickens in the oil and fry both sides in medium heat,
- Take fried chickens into a baking dish,
- Add the tomato paste in the same pan and sautee until smells good,
- Add the grated tomatoes and cook for a few mins. more,
- Add sugar, thyme and salt according to your taste, mix and remove from heat,
- Spread the sauce and peas over the chicken slices,
- Place grated cheese over,
- Bake the chickens in a 170 C degrees pre-heated oven until the cheese melts and browns.
