Sauteed Cabbage Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1/4 of a small head of cabbage,
  • 1 onion,
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 2 teaspoons paprika,
  • 3 cups water,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil until translucent,
  2. Add in the tomato paste and cook for 3 mins,
  3. Stir in the paprika,
  4. Add in the finely chopped cabbage, stir and cook (lid on) for 10 mins,
  5. Now add in the salt and water, put the lid back on and cook until the cabbage is softened,
  6. Serve with garlic - yoghurt and chili pepper flakes.
