Stewed Green Beans Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 500 g green beans,
  • 1 potato,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 1 teaspoon paprika,
  • 1/4 cup olive oil,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil until softened,
  2. Add the tomato paste and stir for 2-3 mins,
  3. Add the paprika and stir,
  4. Add chopped green beans, carrot and potato, stir fry a few mins,
  5. Add the peeled and diced tomato and sauté for 2-3 more mins,
  6. Cook until the beans get darker in color stirring occasionally,
  7. Add enough water to cover beans,
  8. Cook on medium heat until the beans soften,
  9. Add the salt, cook for 1 min and remove from heat.
