Stewed Green Beans Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 500 g green beans,
- 1 potato,
- 1 carrot,
- 1 onion,
- 1 tomato,
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
- 1 teaspoon paprika,
- 1/4 cup olive oil,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil until softened,
- Add the tomato paste and stir for 2-3 mins,
- Add the paprika and stir,
- Add chopped green beans, carrot and potato, stir fry a few mins,
- Add the peeled and diced tomato and sauté for 2-3 more mins,
- Cook until the beans get darker in color stirring occasionally,
- Add enough water to cover beans,
- Cook on medium heat until the beans soften,
- Add the salt, cook for 1 min and remove from heat.
