Long Beans Dish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 g of long beans, trimmed,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 2 teaspoons paprika,
  • 3-4 tbsps of olive oil,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté in heated olive oil until translucent,
  2. Add the tomato paste and stir for 2-3 mins,
  3. Add the paprika and stir,
  4.  Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they soften,
  5. Add the beans and stir carefully,
  6. Put the lid on and cook over low heat until the beans change color,
  7. Now add enough hot water to submerge the beans and cook over low heat until the beans soften,
  8. Add salt and remove from heat.
