Pan Fried Swiss Chard Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb. swiss chard,
- 1 onion,
- 1 carrot,
- 2 coves garlic,
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
- 2 teaspoons paprika,
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes,
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
- 1 cup water,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Finely chop the onion and the carrot,
- Add them in a large saucepan with the vegetable oil and cook on medium heat until tender,
- Add the tomato paste and stir for 1-2 mins,
- Add the paprika and the red pepper flakes and stir,
- Add the finely chopped chard and cook until soft and tender,
- Add the water,
- Bring to a boil and cook on low heat until the carrots are fully cooked,
- Add the salt, stir and remove from heat.
