Çöpele Recipe
Çöpele is one of the many Zonguldak dishes with interesting names. In fact, the dish itself is not a very special dish. Boiled potatoes are served with garlic yoghurt and chili peppers cooked in butter. I guess a potato salad similar to this is made in every home. But sometimes people can think of such easy but delicious things but don't make them. I wanted to have a variety and have it in my food archive.
I have shared many potato salads so far, but none of them are this simple. Even my potato salad recipe, which is closest to this recipe, has quite a few additional ingredients. Recipes such as potato salad with long beans, potato salad with mayonnaise and potato salad with artichokes are more layered potato salad recipes. Although I really liked the potato salad with long beans and artichokes among these recipes, it managed to steal my heart with the ease of preparation and the distinctive taste of butter and chili peppers.
You can prepare çöpele as a light lunch on its own or as an accompaniment to meat, chicken and vegetable dishes. Either way, it will fulfill its mission as a delicious and satisfying meal.
