Meatball Spaghetti Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 250 g spaghetti,
- 4 large tomatoes, grated,
- 1 onion, vhopped,
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced,
- 1 heaping spoon of tomato paste,
- 3 tbsps vegetable oil,
- 1 tsp pepper flakes,
- 1 tsp thyme,
- 1 tsp dried mint,
- 2 tbsps vinegar,
- 1 tsp sugar,
- Salt to taste.
For meatballs;
- 250 g ground beef,
- 1 small onion,
- 1 samll egg,
- 1 tbsp panko breads,
- 1 handful of parsley, chopped,
- 1/2 tsp salt,
- 1/2 tsp cumin,
- 1/2 tsp black pepper,
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil.
Preparation
- For meatballs combine ground beef, onion, egg, panko bread, parsley, salt, cumin and black pepper in a deep bowl together and knead well,
- Make small balls,
- Gerase a baking dizh with 1 tbsp oil,
- Set the meatballs into the dish and bake in a 180 C pre-heated oven until they get brownish,
- After you bake the meatballs prepare the tomato sauce,
- Heat vegetable oil in large pan and add into onion and garlic and cook until tender,
- Add tomato paste and cook until smells good,
- Add grated tomatoes and cook for 4-5 mins, constantly stirring,
- Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spices, stir well and remove from heat,
- Boil water in a deep pan,
- Add into spaghetties and cook al dente, drain,
- In a large pan combine spaghetties, tomato sauce and meatlballs,
- Cook for 1-2 mins., stirring carefully and remove from heat.
