Meatball Spaghetti Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 250 g spaghetti,
  • 4 large tomatoes, grated,
  • 1 onion, vhopped,
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced,
  • 1 heaping spoon of tomato paste,
  • 3 tbsps vegetable oil,
  • 1 tsp pepper flakes,
  • 1 tsp thyme,
  • 1 tsp dried mint,
  • 2 tbsps vinegar,
  • 1 tsp sugar,
  • Salt to taste.

For meatballs;

  • 250 g ground beef,
  • 1 small onion,
  • 1 samll egg,
  • 1 tbsp panko breads,
  • 1 handful of parsley, chopped,
  • 1/2 tsp salt,
  • 1/2 tsp cumin,
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper,
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil.

Preparation

  1. For meatballs combine ground beef, onion, egg, panko bread, parsley, salt, cumin and black pepper in a deep bowl together and knead well,
  2. Make small balls,
  3. Gerase a baking dizh with 1 tbsp oil,
  4. Set the meatballs into the dish and bake in a 180 C pre-heated oven until they get brownish,
  5. After you bake the meatballs prepare the tomato sauce,
  6. Heat vegetable oil in large pan and add into onion and garlic and cook until tender,
  7. Add tomato paste and cook until smells good,
  8. Add grated tomatoes and cook for 4-5 mins, constantly stirring,
  9. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spices, stir well and remove from heat,
  10. Boil water in a deep pan,
  11. Add into spaghetties and cook al dente, drain,
  12. In a large pan combine spaghetties, tomato sauce and meatlballs,
  13. Cook for 1-2 mins., stirring carefully and remove from heat.
