Tas Kebab Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg kuşbaşı
- beef cut into bite-size pieces,
- 3 medium potatoes, diced coarsely,
- 1 medium onion, chopped coarsely,
- 2 green peppers, chopped,
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
- 1 tsp chilli,
- 2 tsps butter,
- Salt to taste,
- 2 cups water at room temperature,
- Vegetable oil to fry potatoes.
Preparation
- In a deep bowl combine beef, onion, green pepper, tomato paste and chilli together,
- Put the mixture into a deep pan,
- Put butter on the mixture,
- Close a bowl (resistant to heat) over the mixture,
- Put a weight on the bowl,
- Add the water,
- Cook in low heat for 1-15 hours,
- Fry the potatoes 15-20 mins. before the cooking time,
- Remove the bowl,
- Add salt and stir, cook for another 5 mins, remove from heat,
- Add potatoes to the kebab and serve.
