Traditional Bread for Eid Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour,
- 1/2 cup warm milk,
- 1 cup warm water,
- 2 tablespoon olive oil,
- 2 teaspoons rapid-rise yeast,
- 2 teaspoons salt,
- 1 tablespoon sugar,
- Sesame seeds,
- Black cumin seeds,
- 1 egg yolk.
Preparation
- Mix together flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a bowl,
- Start adding the warm milk and water while mixing with your hands,
- Mix until everything comes together to form a sticky dough,
- After the dough comes together, add in the oil and knead,
- Cover with kitchen towel and let rest for 30 mins,
- Flour your hands and knead the dough one more time,
- Place the dough on a greased baking dish and roll it out into a circle,
- Brush with egg yolk,
- Make square patterns on top using a knife,
- Sprinkle on some sesame and black cumin seeds,
- Bake at 190 degrees celsius preheated oven for 30 mins.
