  •  2 eggs (1 egg yolk will be brushed on top)
  • 125 gr. butter,
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil,
  • 1 cup milk,
  • 50 gr. rapid-rise yeast,
  • 1.5 tablespoons sugar,
  • 3 teaspoons salt,
  • All purpose flour,
  • Crumbled feta cheese,


  1. Melt the butter,
  2. Add the vegetable oil and milk, then stir,
  3. In a large bowl, stir together 5 cups of flour, yeast, salt and sugar,
  4. Make a cavity in the centre,
  5. Add 1 egg and 1 egg yolk into the cavity and start stirring,
  6. Start adding the oil/mix mixture into it and continue mixing with your hands,
  7. Add more flour if you need it and knead until everything comes together to form a non-sticky dough,
  8. Cover the dough with kitchen towel and let it rest somewhere warm until it doubles in volume,
  9. Pull orange size pieces from the dough and roll each piece out to 2 mm thick circles,
  10. Cut each circle to get 8 equal size triangles,
  11. Put some cheese on the wide side each triangle and roll,
  12. Place the prepared rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper,
  13. Brush with egg yolk and bake at 210 degrees celsius until golden brown.
