Mung Beans Soup Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of mung beans, washed and drained,
  • 1 green pepper, chopped,
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 1 handful of chopped dill,
  • 5 cups of water at room temperature,
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a deep pot,
  2. Add chopped peppers and sautee until tender,
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until softened,
  4. Add water and the beans,
  5. Cover the lid and cook until the beans soften,
  6. Add salt and dill, stir and remove from the heat.
