Hazelnut Honeymoon Cookies Recipe
Of course, it was a must to make the cocoa-free version when the cocoa hazelbut honeymoon cookies I shared earlier this year was so tried and loved. When it became a butter-free, dairy-free, egg-free recipe, it was especially liked by allergy sufferers. As such, different varieties began to be considered. The original of the cookie is already plain and in the form of cocoa. I didn't want to separate the two.
All the tricks are written in the cocoa version, but I will write here again because I know that many people will come to me saying that my dough did not come together when they are too lazy to click on the link and that the pumpkin will explode on my head again.
The hazelnuts need to be really liquid. This is not an exaggerated expression. Liquid = liquid. You can bring the hazelnuts to this consistency by grounding them for a long time with a small bowl blender. If you don't have a small bowl, you can take it through the blender after pulling as much as you can in the blender. If you are confused about this, be sure to watch the video.
I shaped the cookies with an ice cream spoon-shaped cookie cutter. These shapers are about half the size of an ice cream scoop, so the ice cream scoop is not suitable for this shaping process. You can buy this mold online or you can roll the cookies by hand.
In case your cookie dough doesn't come together, do not use milk. Do not do this in any cookie recipe. If the flour is too much and the dough does not come together, the first thing you need to do is to knead as hard as you can and use all your strength to come together. 90% of the photos sent to me because the dough has not come together are dough that has been mixed with a spoon and not even kneaded. Do not do this. If it still does not come together even after using all your strength, add one of the liquid ingredients in the recipe instead of adding any external ingredients. In this recipe, if your dough does not come together, what you need to do is add oil, for example. Although this varies according to the recipe, yogurt, butter, milk if the recipe has it, melted chocolate, etc. may be. But I repeat, never go away from the dough consistency you need to get by adding an ingredient that is not in the recipe.

- alisab94: Hi, I was wondering if there was a substitute for the vegetable oil in this recipe? November 18, 2018 4:52 pm
- Kevser: You can use any liquid oil you generally use while cooking. But don't forget if it has a weird smell, the cookies will also have smell like it. November 18, 2018 10:20 pm
