Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 eggs,
- 100 g butter,
- 1 cup sugar,
- 1 teaspoon baking powder,
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder,
- Grated peels of half and orange,
- 1 cup of hazelnuts,
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips,
- 2 cups flour.
Preparation
- Whisk eggs, butter and sugar in a deep bowl,
- Add cocoa powder, baking powder and orange peel and mix,
- Add flour gradually and knead,
- Add into the hazelnuts and chocolate chips and knead,
- Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and form a long rectangular shape,
- Bake at 190 degrees celsius preheated oven until the top cracks,
- Remove from the oven and using a serrated knife, slice the log on a sharp diagonal into about 3/4 inch thick slices,
- Arrange the slices on the baking sheet, laying cut side down,
- Bake at 170 degrees celsius for 15-20 mins more.
