Fresh Tomato and Cheese Salad Recipe
Fresh tomato and cheese salad is one of my most popular lunches during summer. It can be called a kind of Turkish breakfast mixed in a single bowl. In fact, it also resembles to Greek salad, but due to a few differences, it is not possible to call it a Greek salad. This is just one of my lunch salads.
I will count the others, but I'm afraid you will say that this girl does not eat anything but cheese. I'll count anyway; Halloumi cheese salad, green salad with white cheese, lettuce salad with feta cheese and chickpea salad with onions shining like a star within this cheese dominance.
I like to eat cheese yes. Mine is not a love like those who claim to love cheese and only eat two or three bites of cheese for breakfast. If theirs is cheese love then mine is something else. Because when I sit down at their table, I ask "won't you eat cheese?" because the cheese they put on the table for 6 people is as much as the cheese I eat alone. By the way, I don't think I eat excessive amounts of cheese. I think other people eat very little cheese. How else can we explain putting just one slice of cheese on the cheese plate for 6 people and taking cheese for each bite with the tip of a fork? The people who do this do not like cheese, they put up with cheese. That's what I do when I have to eat a kind of cheese I don't like. I just pretend to eat it.
If your relationship with cheese is at this level, please do not deceive yourself or anyone else. Accept that you don't like cheese, so that you will not prepare the cheese plate for people who don't like cheese as you, but for the people who really love it.
If we turn back to our recipe... Like I said, I think it's a great recipe for a light lunch. If you have a refrigerator at your workplace, you can also take it from home to work. Since there is no lemon or vinegar in it, the texture or taste change in vegetables is not disturbing. You can add or remove ingredients according to your taste. You can also use curd cheese instead of white cheese. If you are on a diet, this will reduce the amount of calories you take.
