Lettuce Salad With Feta Cheese

When it comes to creating a dish that is both light and full of flavor, Mediterranean cuisine never disappoints. This salad is a wonderful example of how just a few simple ingredients can come together to make something refreshing, nourishing, and satisfying. It’s the kind of recipe that proves you don’t need complicated techniques or long ingredient lists to eat well.
The sweet smokiness of roasted red peppers pairs beautifully with the crisp freshness of lettuce, while creamy feta cheese adds a salty contrast that balances the flavors. A sprinkle of walnuts brings a gentle crunch and nuttiness, elevating the texture. Finally, a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar ties everything together with a touch of richness and acidity.
This salad works perfectly as a light lunch, a side dish for grilled meats, or even as part of a mezze spread. Because it is quick and easy to prepare, it’s also a great option when you want something wholesome but don’t have much time. If you like, you can experiment with variations—try adding fresh herbs like parsley or basil for an extra burst of aroma, or swap walnuts with almonds or hazelnuts for a different flavor profile.
It’s colorful, healthy, and bursting with Mediterranean character—proof that simplicity can be incredibly delicious.
