Chickpea Salad With Onions
How to Keep Motivated on a Diet?
When diet and salad are mentioned, jokes about "grazing" most likely come to mind in many people's minds. The reason why many people cannot switch to a healthy diet is this unconscious approach of the society; the pleasure they get from stigmatizing and making fun of people; perhaps it is an effort to glorify their own mistakes by belittling the truth of others. In a crowded community, for example, at work, imagine someone goes on a diet. The majority of people at work instead of supporting the person try to lure the person astray with appetizing meals, to convince them that they cannot maintain the diet/lose weight no matter how hard they try. If they see the slightest escapism, they give speeches starting with "I told you so". In spite of everything, when you lose weight, the sentences "you will get it back anyway" begin this time too. Even though most people don't accept it, they want others to fail. The success of others shows them that something is "doable" and creates a deep sense of guilt. But if no one can achieve something, there is no need for him to try. That's why they does their best so that no one can succeed.
Don't just think of it in terms of losing weight or dieting. When you think about the event in a more general way, different examples will come to your mind, and perhaps you will even remember what you did. While everyone blames the society for something, they forget that they are also a part of that society.
What are we doing then? First of all, we do not try to trip people who have put something in their mind, we support them in every way. Then we jump over people's trips on the way to something we put our mind to.
Change Your Taste Perception
We are also shifting our perception of salads from bland green plates to delicious and satisfying meals. As you'll see from this recipe, not every salad has to be boring. A properly made salad can be much tastier than a regular pizza or hamburger. Stop making pizzas, hamburgers, and ravioli as very, very tasty but unattainable foods in your mind. Don't think that diet food is bland anyway, and I have to get used to it, you can always find both delicious and healthy alternatives, or even create your own.
If you still have a prejudice that what is healthy will be tasteless, let's talk after trying this salad.
