Crunchy Vegetable Borek Recipe
Serving : 20 Pieces
Ingredients
- 3 phyllo sheets,
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil,
- 2 tbsp flour,
- 1 tbsp vinegar.
For filling;
- 2 zucchinis,
- 1 carrot,
- 1 red pepper,
- 1 green bell pepper,
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil,
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation
- Peel and julienne the carrot and zucchinis,
- Julienne the peppers,
- Heat 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan,
- Add vegetables and saute in high heat until tender,
- Add salt and pepper, stir and remove from heat,
- Fr sauce in a bowl combine vegetable oil, flour and vinegar,
- Place one of the phyllo sheets on the counter,
- Brush the sheet with 1/3 of the sauce,
- Spread the second sheet on top,
- Brush with half of the remaining sauce,
- Spread the last sheet and brush with the remaining sauce,
- Spread the sauteed vegetables on top of the sheets and roll,
- Cut the roll in 1 inch width,
- Cover a baking sheet with parchement paper,
- Place the slices on the parchement paper,
- Bake in 190C degrees pre-heated oven until golden.
