Spinach Pizza Borek Recipe
Serving : 6 Servings
Ingredients
- 3 phyllo dough,
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil,
- 1/2 cup milk,
- 1 tsp plain yogurt,
- 1 cup grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese.
For filling;
- 500 g spinach, chopped,
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil,
- 300 g feta cheese, mashed,
- Salt to taste.
Preparation
- For filling heat the oil, toss spinach and cook until tender and all the juice is evaporated,
- Add salt, stir and remove from heat,
- Add cheese and stir well,
- Mix milk and yogurt together,
- Grease a 26 cm baking dish,
- Place one of the phyllos inside it (dangling from the edges),
- Pour some oil and milk+yogurt mixture onto the phyllo,
- Place the second phyllo inside the dish, disordered,
- Pour some oil and milk+yogurt mixture,
- Place half of the filling into the dish,
- Place the last phyllo,
- Pour the remaining oil and milk+yogurt mixture,
- Fold the edges of the first phyllo inside,
- Place the remaining filling on top evenly,
- Bake 20 mins. in a 180 C degrees pre-heated oven,
- Remove from oven and sprinkle cheddar/mozzarella on top,
- Bake again until golden on top.
