Coated Potato Balls Recipe
This is a recipe that you can easily prepare for your guests, attracting people with its appearance rather than its taste. Of course, that doesn't mean it's not delicious. How tasteless can something made with boiled potatoes be, after all, right? What I'm trying to tell you is that some foods are more appealing to the eyes than the palate and this recipe is one of them. For example, you can give your hours and open pies for your guests. But everyone who takes a plate in their hand comes close to it so that I can taste what it is like, not the pastry. I wonder which one I should buy, what are these now, what's inside, are they all the same, etc. They ask a lot of questions like, in short, it manages to attract attention.
You can prepare the recipe a day in advance. If you manage to store it in the refrigerator in such a way that the smell of other foods is not absorbed, its taste, smell and appearance will not change.
Some types of potatoes are very juicy, they are not hard to take shape after boiling, they become like slurry when mashed, there is nothing for them to do. My potatoes didn't take shape, don't lament why. You see, they don't take shape, turn them into mashed potatoes or soup.
Let me grate the cheddar into the potato so that it will be more delicious!! Don't think, it won't have any effect in terms of flavor. Cheddar does not add flavor to any dish, because it is not a delicious cheese anyway. It only melts and stretches when hot, and it creates a perception of flavor, as we like it visually. Even if you add it to this recipe while the potato is hot, your potato balls will freeze after cooling, so it can harden the potato and negatively affect its consistency.
I went into the subject because it suits the invitation tables very well. But as a matter of fact, it will also be a great side dish for meat and chicken dishes. It can be considered as an alternative to mashed potatoes.
