Chocolate Tart Recipe
Serving : 6-8 Servings
Ingredients
For the crust;
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts,
- 1/2 cup walnuts,
- 150 gr. graham crackers / digestive biscuits,
- 1.5 tablespoon butter,
For the filling;
- 200 gr. bitter-sweet chocolate,
- 2,5 cup milk,
- 1/3 cups flour,
- 2 tablespoons starch,
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder,
- 1/2 cups sugar,
- To decorate: 1/4 cups hazelnuts and 1/4 cups walnuts.
Preparation
- In a food processor, add the biscuits, hazelnuts and walnuts and whiz them up until everything is finely crushed,
- Add the softened butter and mix well with your hands,
- Press the mixture in the bottom of a 9” springform pan and set it in the fridge,
- For the filling, whisk together the milk, starch, sugar and cocoa in pan,
- Put on medium heat and cook stirring constantly until thickened,
- Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, then whisk until all the chocolate melts,
- Continue whisking until the filling cools down,
- Pour the filling into the springform pan and smooth it out,
- Decorate with coarsely chopped hazelnuts and walnuts,
- Refrigerate overnight and serve.
