Chocolate Tart Recipe

For the crust;

  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts,
  • 1/2 cup walnuts,
  • 150 gr. graham crackers / digestive biscuits,
  • 1.5 tablespoon butter,

For the filling;

  • 200 gr. bitter-sweet chocolate,
  • 2,5 cup milk,
  • 1/3 cups flour,
  • 2 tablespoons starch,
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder,
  • 1/2 cups sugar,
  • To decorate: 1/4 cups hazelnuts and 1/4 cups walnuts.


  1. In a food processor, add the biscuits, hazelnuts and walnuts and whiz them up until everything is finely crushed,
  2. Add the softened butter and mix well with your hands,
  3. Press the mixture in the bottom of a 9” springform pan and set it in the fridge,
  4. For the filling, whisk together the milk, starch, sugar and cocoa in pan,
  5. Put on medium heat and cook stirring constantly until thickened,
  6. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, then whisk until all the chocolate melts,
  7. Continue whisking until the filling cools down,
  8. Pour the filling into the springform pan and smooth it out,
  9. Decorate with coarsely chopped hazelnuts and walnuts,
  10. Refrigerate overnight and serve.
