No Bake Chocolate and Banana Tart Recipe
The idea of making a no-bake fruit tart had been on my mind for a long time. Actually, the first idea that came to my mind was to combine a white cream with red summer berries. However, when I missed the summer season, I decided to combine the banana, which is the most suitable fruit for tart, with peanut butter.
When peanut butter and banana come together, it would be a shame if I haven't crowned this togetherness with chocolate. As such, the resulting flavor was this no bake chocolate banana tart. I used them inside the tart, not on the tart, to prevent the bananas from browning.
For the base, I used oatmeal and peanut butter instead of flour and butter, the main ingredients of tart dough, in recipes such as the chocolate caramel tart recipe. Finally, I tied it with water as in the same kind of recipes. Since the mixture is not baked, it is not crunchy like traditional tart dough. It has a hard elastic consistency, rather like vegan date chocolate. I would like to underline this point so that you do not have false expectations and be disappointed.
The interior consists of three layers; banana, peanut butter and chocolate ganache. I used unsweetened peanut butter and did not add sugar when preparing the tart. But if you want a sweet tart, you can use peanut butter with sugar, or you can add sugar and mix it while preparing. You can also make peanut butter at home if you wish.
After preparing the tart, keeping the ganache in the refrigerator for a while will allow you to serve it without any problems.
