Ingredients

  • 1/2 head medium cauliflower,
  • 1 medium carrot,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 2 teaspoons paprika,
  • 1 tablespoon flour,
  • 1 tablespoon butter,
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil,
  • Salt,
  • Water,
  • Parsley.

Preparation

  1. Break the cauliflower into florets and submerge in water with 3-5 drops of lemon juice,
  2. Heat the butter and oil in a pan,
  3. Finely chop the onion,
  4. Slice the carrots,
  5. Add the onions and carrots into the pan and cook until soft,
  6. Add the tomato paste and stir for 1 min,
  7. Add the paprika and flour and stir for 1-2 mins,
  8. Drain the cauliflower florets and add to the pan,
  9. Put enough water to submerge and boil until the cauliflower and carrots are softened and fully cooked,
  10. Add salt, stir and remove from heat,
  11. Add freshly chopped parsley (optional).
