Savory Parmesan Cookies

  • 100 g butter at room temperature ,
  • 1 egg,
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt,
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts, finely grounded,
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese,  finely grated,
  • 1 handful of parsley, chopped,
  • 1 tsp pepper flakes,
  • 1 tsp salt,
  • 1/2 tea spoon baking soda,
  • 2 cups of flour.


  1. In a deep bowl, combine butter, egg, yoghurt, parmesan, walnut, parsley, flake, baking soda and salt together,
  2. Add the flour gradually and knead until you get a dough that does not stick to the hands,
  3. Roll the dough into a  roll and wrap with a plastic wrap,
  4. Set aside in the freezer for 30-45 mins.,
  5. Remove the plastic wrap and thinly slice it with a sharp knife,
  6. Set the cookies into a baking sheet covered with parchement paper,
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
