Sauteed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 600 g button mushrooms, cleaned and chopped,
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 green peppers, chopped,
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste,
  • 1/4 tbsp paprika,
  • 1 cup tomato puree,
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
  • Salt to taste.

Preparation

  1. In a skillet heat vegetable oil,
  2. Add onions and cook until translucent,
  3. Add green peppers and sautee for 3-4 mins,
  4. Add tomato paste and cook for another 2 mins,
  5. Add paprika and stir,
  6. Add mushrooms and cook until they loosen and then soak their water back,
  7. Add tomato puree and salt,
  8. Cover and cook until mushrooms are tender.

    • Kevser: The dish takes its flavor from the mushroom. If the mushrooms you used were bland, it's a natural result. For the next time keep in mind that you can add spices in these types of unfortunate cases. March 17, 2023 6:51 pm
