Turkish Style Sauteed Meat Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 500 g chopped beef,
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 red peppers,
  • 4 green peppers,
  • 10 mushrooms,
  • 2 tomatoes,
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste,
  • 2 tsps ground red pepper,
  • 1/4 cup olive oil,
  • 2 cups water,
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion, peppers and tomato, and mudhrooms,
  2. Heat the oil in a pressured cooker,
  3. Add beef and cook until brown,
  4. Add tomato paste and ground red pepper and cook for 2 mins,
  5. Add 2 cups of hot water,
  6. Cover the lid and cook for 25 mins,
  7. Open the lid and add  onion, mushroom and peppers and cook on medium heat until softened,
  8. Add the tomato and cook until it absorbs all the water it initially releases,
  9. Add salt and pepper and remove from heat.
