Beef With Porcini Mushroom Sauce

 

Beef With Porcini Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr julienne beef,
  • 1 onion,
  • 3 tbsps olive oil,
  • Salt
  • Black pepper,
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil.

For sauce;

  • A handful of porcini mushrooms, dried,
  • 200 ml heavy cream,
  • 1 tbsp. butter,
  • 1/2 tbsp. flour,
  • 1 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese,
  • Salt and ground black pepper to season.

Preparation:

  1. Grate onion and take into a glass bowl,
  2. Add beef, olive oil, salt and black pepper and combine well,
  3. Cover with a stretch film amd set aside in fridge for 4-8 hours,
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet pan,
  5. Add marinated beef and sautee until tender,
  6. Meanwhilechop the porcini mushrooms for sauce ,
  7. In a skillet pan melt the butter,
  8. Add flour and stir constantly for 1 mins.,
  9. Add the cream and stir,
  10. Add chopped porcini mushrooms,
  11. In low heat cook for 5 mins. stirring,
  12. Add grated parmesan cheese, salt and black pepper,
  13. Cook for 2 more mins. and remove from heat.
