Leek Dish With Rice Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 kg leeks, chopped,
- 1 carrot, chopped,
- 1/4 cup rice,
- 1 tbsp tomato paste,
- 1 tsp paprika,
- 5 tbsps olive oil,
- 3 cups boiling water,
- Salt to taste.
Preparation
- Heat olive oil in a deep pan,
- Add leek and carrots,
- Cook, constantly stirring for about 5-7 mins.,
- Cover the lid and cook in low heat until the veggies are tender,
- Add tomato paste and stir fry for a few mins.,
- Add paprika and stir well,
- Add water, rice and salt, cover the lid and cook until rice is tender.
