Baked Leek with Minced Meat

Baked Leek with Minced Meat

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch leeks,
  • 200 gr. ground beef,
  • 3 carrots,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 2 teaspoons paprika,
  • Vegetable oil,
  • 1-2 cups water,
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Sauté the ground beef in vegetable oil until fully cooked,
  2. Add the tomato paste and paprika and stir for 1-2 mins,
  3. Add the thinly sliced leeks and finely chopped carrots, put the lid on and cook on medium heat stirring occasionally for 5-10 mins,
  4. Add the water and allow it to boil,
  5. Cook on medium heat until all the vegetables are fully cooked,
  6. Add the salt, stir and remove from heat,
  7. Pour the mixture into a small casserole dish,
  8. Broil at 190 degrees Celsius until the top turns brown.
