Cottage Pie Recipe
Cottage pie is one of the favorite dishes of British cuisine. Cottage pie takes some time to prepare, but a simple recipe with little margin for error. The difference with the shephards pie made with the same method is the use of ground beef in the cottage pie and the use of ground lamb meat in the shephards pie.
Cottage pie is a very delicious meal with a quality meat. When the ground beef is bad, no matter what dish you cook, there is no successful result. That's why, instead of buying ground beef from a random place, I recommend you buy it from butchers you know. Butchers who have been doing this business for years will direct you to the right meat or ground beef with the right fat ratio when you tell them which dish to cook. Many are also very helpful with construction methods.
Let's get to our recipe... Cottage pie, like many home-cooked meals, is a recipe that can vary depending on the person making it. But in its most general form, it is done as follows. If you wish, you can use canned peas and carrots instead of fresh ones. You can also add canned corn.
