Circassian Chicken Recipe Circassian Chicken Recipe


  • 1 chicken thigh,
  • Half of a chicken breast,
  • 1 cup walnuts, finely grounded,
  • 1/2 cups of breadcrumbs,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1 cup of water at room temperature,
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 tsp chilli powder,
  • Salt to taste.


  1. Take chicken thigh and breast into a deep pan and add 3 cups of water,
  2. Cover the lid and cook until the chicken is tender,
  3. Remove the skin and bones and shred the chicken,
  4. In a bowl combine walnuts, bread crumbs, grated garlic and salt together,
  5. Add 1 cup of chicken broth and mix well,
  6. Add half of the mixture to the shredded chickens and mix,
  7. Take the mixture to the serving plate,
  8. Pour the remaining sauce over,
  9. Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan and add chilli,
  10. Stir and remove from heat,
  11. Pour the chilli sauce over the circassian chicken.
