- 1 tbsp butter,
- 1 tbsp flour,
- 2 cups milk,
- 1/2 cup edam cheese, grated,
- 1/2 cup gouda cheese, grated,
- 1/2 cup gruyere cheese, grated.
- Melt the butter in a pan and add flour,
- Cook, constantly stirring until it turns to a light brown colour,
- Remove the pan, set aside for 5 mins.,
- Add milk in small amount at a time and stir fast, until smooth,
- Add grated cheese and cook in low heat until the cheese melts,
- You can use the sauce with meat, chicken, pasta or as a dip sauce.
