Bean Stew With Beef

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dried beans,
  • 250 g chopped beef,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 1 tsp ground chilli,
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 3-3,5 water cup water at room temperature,
  • Salt to taste.

Preparation

  1. Soak dried beans in warm water overnight or at least 2 hours,
  2. Heat pressured cooker,
  3. Add the beef and sutee in high heat until it changes color,
  4. Add vegetable oil, stir well,
  5. Add the onion and sautee until the the onions soften,
  6. Add the tomato paste and sautee for a few mins.,
  7. Add the chilli and stir,
  8. Drain the beans and add to the beef,
  9. Add water and cover the lid and cook until beans are tender,
  10. Open the lid and add salt, stir and remove from heat.
