Vegan Mushroom Schnitzel Recipe
I've been thinking about trying the mushroom schnitzel for quite some time. It took a while as I tried not to eat deep fried food often. I had no doubt that I would love the mushroom schnitzel, but I didn't think the consistency would be this good. Both the crispness of the outer coating and the inner texture were magnificent. You can convince someone who doesn't know it's made of mushrooms, that it's a chicken schnitzel.
My first goal when making vegan mushroom schnitzel was not to imitate the chicken schnitzel recipe. I just wanted to try a different recipe with mushrooms and add an alternative to the crispy food category for vegans. To be honest, this recipe gave me more than I expected.
I think mushrooms will always continue to amaze me in such recipes. This was the case in the vegan mushroom kokorec recipe. It had become a recipe I made often while I was just waiting for a mushroom sandwich. It looks like the mushroom schnitzel will too.
Can it be Baked in the Oven?
I'm sure many people have this question on their minds. You can technically bake the mushroom schnitzel in the oven, but you will not get a great result. If you want to cook the mushroom in the oven, you can use the baked oyster mushroom recipe. If you want to make mushroom schnitzel, deep frying is the best way.
