Tomato Pilaf Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice,
- 1 tomato,
- 1 tablespoon butter,
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium chicken broth,
- Salt,
- 1,5 cup hot water.
Preparation
- Melt the butter,
- Add the rinsed rice and sauté for 5 mins stirring occasionally,
- Add in the salt, grated tomato and chicken broth,
- Now add the 1.5 cups of water, stir and put the lid on,
- Cook on low heat until all the water is absorbed,
- Remove from heat, let it rest for 15 mins and serve.
