Tomato Focaccia Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 3 cups water,
- 1 cup warm water,
- 4 tsps instant yeast,
- 1 tbsp sugar,
- 1 tsp salt,
- 2 tbsps olive oil,
- 2 tsps dried thyme,
- 1 clove of garlic, grated,
- 7-8 cherry tomatoes, washed and cut in halves.
Preparation
- In a deep bowl mix yeast, warm water, sugar and 1 tbsp olive oil,
- Add flour step by step and knead the dough gently,
- Add salt and knead until you reach to an elastic dough,
- Make the dough a ball and cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 45 mins.,
- Knead the dough once again,
- Grease a 22*22 cm baking dish and place the dough into it,
- Using your hands lay the dough into the baking dish,
- In a small bowl combine the remaining olive oil, grated garlic and thyme,
- Brush top of the dough with this mixture,
- Place halved tomatoes on top,
- Bake in a 190 C degrees preheated oven until golden.
