Tomato Bulgur Pilaf Recipe

Tomato Bulgur Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup wheat bulgur,
  • 3 tomatoes,
  • 2 cups water,
  • 3-4 tbsps olive oil,
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme,
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Peel the tomato and cut into small cubes,
  2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan,
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook over medium heat until softened,
  4. Add the rinsed bulgur and stir for 2-3 mins,
  5. Add the salt, thyme and water, then put the lid on,
  6. Cook over low heat until all the water is absorbed.
