Chickpea Bulgur Pilaf Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup of coarse bulgur,
- 1 cup of boiled chickpeas,
- 1 onion, chopped,
- 2 green peppers, chopped,
- 1 tomato, chopped,
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil,
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
- 1 tsp ground chilli,
- 2 cups of boiling water,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Heat oil in a large pan,
- Add the onion and green pepper, sautee until soften,
- Add the tomato paste and roast until smells good,
- Add the ground chilli, stir,
- Add tomato and cook until tender,
- Add bulgur and stir,
- Add water and salt, cover the lid and cook until the water until it is too low,
- Add chickpeas and stir and cook until the water is completely drained.
