Carrot Bulghur Pilaf


Carrot Bulghur Pilaf



  • 1 cup bulgur wheat,
  • 2 carrots,
  • 1 red cayenne pepper,
  • 1 tablespoon butter,
  • 2,5 cups hot water,
  • Salt.


  1. Peel and thinly grate the carrots,
  2. Remove the seeds of the pepper and finely dice,
  3. Melt the butter and add the carrots and pepper,
  4. Cool on low heat until the vegetables soften,
  5. Now add the bulgur and stir for 5 mins,
  6. Add the hot water and salt, stir then put on the lid,
  7. Cook over low heat until all the water is absorbed.
